A dress from 1956 has a shaped neckline and sewn down pleats in the skirt front and a side zipper. Optional pattern pieces and instructions have been provided to include pockets. View A has short sleeves and a wide neckline with front trim and button accents. View B has three-quarter length sleeves and a contrast trim around the neckline.
PDF versions include a copy shop print version as well as a letter/A4 version that you can print out at home. A picture of the inspiration pattern has been provided. The pattern has been scanned and graded from the original inspiration pattern. As vintage sizing has been used, I recommend making a muslin for fitting purposes.
