Size 16-18-20 - 1964 2-Piece Dress

Two-piece dress has side buttoned top and slim, three-gore skirt with attached camisole. Sleeveless top has scooped neckline and neck and fronts are trimmed with machine stitching. Fronts are faced and buttoned edge of right front is interfaced. Skirt and camisole have dart fitting. Right skirt front is faced and stitched to left front in tuck effect with vent at lower edge. Skirt and camisole have left side zipper. Bonus pieces include separate lining pieces for top and skirt. Instructions for creating a bagged lining have also been included.

PDF versions include a copy shop print version as well as a letter/A4 version that you can print out at home. A picture of the inspiration pattern has been provided. The pattern has been scanned and graded from the original inspiration pattern. As vintage sizing has been used, I recommend making a muslin for fitting purposes.

As with most vintage patterns, this pattern assumes an intermediate level sewing skill. A glossary of commonly used techniques has been provided at the end of the instruction sheet.
